Job Summary:

Our client is a growing biomedical company that specializes in collagen-based absorbable medical devices for surgical use. They are looking for a resourceful, pro-active Marketing Communications Manager for their new US office based in NYC.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

1)    Assist in the planning and execution of surgeon engagement and educational programs. 

  • Develop master calendar of events. Ensure meetings and programs are added to internal stakeholders calendars, and schedules. Work through scheduling conflicts as they arise. 

  • Project manages key deliverables for programs by making sure project milestones are being completed on time and that deliverables are being disseminated to senior management in an expedited manner. 

  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of material/resources/equipment at programs. 

  • Responsible for working with internal and external partners to make sure all payments to physicians are completed in a timely manner and are properly accounted for with respect to all internal and external procedures. 

2)    Manage and support the planning and execution of local and national congress/conventions. 

  • Includes development of an annual convention/congress plan, reserving and coordinating payment for booth space, shipping booth property and materials to and from the meetings, logistical management, and coordination at congress/conventions. 

  • Routine analysis and reporting on congress and conventions campaign performance, including presenting updates to senior management and management and distribution of customer leads. 

3)    Create and manage the US sales training & promotional review approval process. 

  • Design and implement the US sales training & promotional review approval process. 

  • Manage US sales training & promotional review approval process. This includes circulating documents, tracking changes, updating documents, scheduling review meetings, validating that changes have been completed, and filing and archiving approved materials. 

4)    Other assignments as required by management.  

Qualifications:

  • High-energy, self-starter and team player, with excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills and a can-do mentality. 

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing preferred or related field). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including ability to sell ideas to management and across the organization. 

  • Superb organizational, time management, and customer service skills - you will work with everyone in our organization and their individual styles. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities. 

  • Creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for efficiencies. 

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); as well as CRM/database experience (preferred). 

  • Comfortable interacting with senior level executives. 

  • Curious and willing to learn, able to adjust to changes, and to grow with the company.
